A high fiber food

Let's talk about Edamame or edamame bean is a preparation of immature soybeans in the pod, found in the cuisine of Japan, China and Hawaii. The pods are boiled or steamed and served with salt.

A 1 cup serving of Edamame has 8g of dietary fiber, which makes this food great for cleaning out your colon. What happens with this food is when you chew it, larger chunks of it do not get digested, leaving the edemame to act as a brush as it passes through your colon. The bulk that it creates also makes it easier to pass. It's a good constipation preventative.
